Suzuki V-Strom 650 Overview
Built to give riders a new level of enjoyment and excitement on the road, the Suzuki V-Strom 650 brags aggressive styling, impressive performance, and great handling. As part of the V-Strom range, this adventure touring bike owns a compact body and a sporty front fairing. In the Philippine market, it is available in two variants including the ABS which is tagged at P489,000 and the XT ABS version with a sticker price of P539,000.
Apart from its cool looks, it also comes with notable features like the adjustable windscreen, an instrument panel that has an analog tachometer and an LCD speedometer. Other riding information available are trip meter, gear position, coolant temperature, average fuel consumption, and clock. At the rear, there is a lightweight luggage carrier with a handlebar.
The V-Strom 650 houses a high-revving 645cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine. This powertrain can deliver up to 66 hp and 58 Nm of torque, partnered to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The overall performance is also enhanced with a Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) system.
Both variants are fitted with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) in its disc brakes. The 650XT, on the other hand, features a traction control for added safety during a long-distance journey.
