There are two flavors of the Suzuki Skydrive scooter and both are marketed in different ways. The Sport variant is the more fashionable choice while the 125 Fi is a more dependable and upgraded ride. Locally, the Sport variant is priced at P67,900 and the 125 Fi is tagged at P78,900.
Key features in the Skydrive Sport and 125 Fi include a key shutter and a dual front rack that is ready to take its rider’s belongings. Unique to the 125 Fi is a headlight with five lights for visual impact, while the Sport proudly wears a headlight that has styling cues taken from its GSX-R bigger sibling.
The 125 Fi, as its name suggests, is powered by a 124cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that has four stokes, two valves, and one cylinder. It can put out a maximum output of 9 hp and 10 Nm of torque. Fuel injection is also featured in the Sport as well, but the technology can be found in an 113cc mill, also air-cooled, and has the same number of strokes and cylinders as the 125 Fi. This engine can produce 9 hp and 9 Nm of torque. Both variants come with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
To stop these urban runabouts, they are fitted with disc brakes in front, while drums do their duty at the rear. A key shutter security feature is also fitted to deter thieves.
