Suzuki Raider R150 Overview

Suzuki Motors Philippines plugs the Raider R150 underbone bike as the “king” in its class—and the Japanese brand has every right to do so. After all, the Raider R150 reportedly made 45 percent of the market in its category in 2019. This success was made possible by its dynamic design, power, and speed. The commuter bike comes with three variants: Premium Colors and the Matte Black Premium Edition which retails for P96,000 each; and the Combat Series featuring military-style graphics in its GSX-R-inspired body design at P97,900.

Standard across the Suzuki Raider R150 variants are the new headlight design, seat contour, muffler design, and instrument panel that comes with a shift timing light to ensure accurate shifts from the rider.

Meanwhile, the Raider R150’s sporty intent continues on the drivetrain. The bike is powered by a 147cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-valve, one cylinder engine that churns out 15 hp and 12 Nm of torque. The engine is then coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission.

Safety is also given importance with disc brakes on both wheels.
