Suzuki's entry into the maxi-scooter category of motorcycles in the Philippines is one of the most affordable options for mainstream consumers in the market. Taking from the historic Burgman name, the Burgman Street is an all-new scooter from the Suzuki stable whose tagline reads, "The maxi-scooter you can afford."
Equipped with a 125cc 4-stroke, single-cylinder, SOHC, 2-valve engine, the Burgman Street features enough power for daily riding in the city. With a smooth CVT automatic, riding is effortless and requires only a simple twist of the wrist to operate. Coming with up to 8.58 hp and 10.2 Nm of torque, the air-cooled and fuel-injected engine is simple and efficient enough for daily tasks around the city while remaining smooth and easy to operate. The fuel tank is rated at 5.6 liters and Suzuki Philippines claims up to 53.50 km/L in fuel economy figures.
The chassis is made out of steel, while the stopping power is brought on by a disc brake in the front and drum in the rear. The Burgman Street also comes with a combi-brake system, that engages the front and rear for added stopping reliability and power. Wheels are cast aluminum and come in a 12-inch diameter, while the seat height is at an accessible 780 mm.
Practicality features of the Burgman include cubby holes for your wallet and phone as well as a massive 21.5 liters of space in under-seat storage.
