Kymco Like 150i Overview

Named by Motorcycle.com as the 2017 Best Scooter in the USA, the Kymco Like 150i is a combination of retro design and modern features, complemented with European style. Officially released in the Philippine motorcycle scene in 2018, this light-weight scooter segment is offered in two variant options: ABS at P119,000 with Red, Pearl White, and Deep Blue Metallic color schemes and Noodoe ABS at P139,900 with Matte Grey paint.

What makes the Like 150i Noodoe pricier is the Noodoe technology equipped in this variant. With this system, riders can interconnect with other riders and it is installed with a navigation-ready feature. Owners just have to download the Noodoe app to a smartphone and it will connect to the bike’s LED dashboard for a more interactive system.

The Like 150i embraces classic style with its LED headlamp and LED tail lamp, along with a fully-digital instrument panel. For convenience, it has a glove box compartment with a lock as well as a USB charging port.

Riding on 12-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, the suspension setup is taken care of by telescopic front forks and dual shock rear absorbers. As for safety, this scooter bike has front and rear disc brakes with Bosch Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) on both ends.

At the heart of this Taiwanese scooter is a 7-liter 150cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, SOHC gasoline engine that can deliver a maximum output of 13 hp and 13 Nm of torque. This powertrain is then coupled to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
