Triumph Thruxton RS Overview

Capability, comfort, and style are the three main things that the Triumph Thruxton RS offers to its rider. Aside from that, it also comes with a host of features to give riders confidence on the track. Locally, this cafe racer is made available in two variants, namely a standard ABS and a Showcase trim.

This modern classic bike brags its black finished design including powder-coated engine covers, cam cover, sprocket cover, side panel, and premium black anodized wheels and wheel rims.

Unleashing its off-road ability and versatility, the Thruxton RS is equipped with upside down (USD) forks and twin rear shocks suspension set-up. For braking performance, it has dual disc brakes in front and single disc brake at the rear.

Once seated, there's an LCD multi-functional instrument pack that comes with an analog speedometer, engine rpm, odometer, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, clock, and trip computer. It is also suited with scroll and mode buttons on handlebars, heated grips, fuel consumption display, traction control status and riding mode display.

For extra safety, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and traction control come standard. Three riding modes are also available such as Road, Rain, and Sport.

Another major upgrade for the Thruxton RS is a 1200cc liquid-cooled, SOHC, 270-degree crank angle parallel-twin engine that can put out 104 hp and 113 Nm of torque. This power mill is then connected to a 6-speed manual transmission.
