The KTM RC 390 is a sports bike that delivers impressive performance and engineering. Introduced locally in 2018, it is available at P335,000.
This bike features a duo of stylish headlights upfront that is in keeping with its supersport race look, and more importantly, provide excellent visibility in dark conditions. Behind the windshield, a full-digital LCD instrument cluster does duty, providing the rider readouts including gear position, service reminder, and whether the stand is up or down. Ride-by-wire is also fitted, as well as a special race-inspired exhaust system. It has a three-chamber silencer that’s positioned close to the RC 390’s center of gravity to ensure excellent balance.
Powering this bike is a liquid-cooled 373cc DOHC engine that has one cylinder and four-strokes, which makes 43 hp and 47 Nm of torque, connected to a 6-speed transmission. The engine features fuel-injection and smart intake design that contribute to efficiency and performance.
The rider is kept safe with disc brakes that are connected to an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). Another safety feature is in the stand, which automatically shuts off the engine should it be engaged while the engine is running, or when the bike is in one of the gears.
