Honda’s entry to the touring segment comes in the form of the CB500X, which promises excellent touring capabilities in a striking design. Introduced in the market in 2018 and updated in 2021, this adventure touring bike is made available with only one ABS variant, with its price retailing at P380,000.
Key features of the CB500X include an LCD instrument panel, an adjustable windshield, LED taillight and signal lights, and a preload-adjustable suspension for the front and rear.
Propulsion is meanwhile provided by a 471cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke, two-cylinder, parallel-twin engine, producing a healthy 47 hp and 43 Nm of torque. This mill is then paired with a 6-speed manual transmission that uses a wet clutch.
The CB500X keeps its rider safe with its disc brakes on all wheels connected to a two-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). There's also Honda Intelligent Security System (HISS), which makes sure that the engine can only be started when the original key is used.
