CFMOTO 700 CL-X Heritage Overview

CFMoto's 700 CL-X is the brand's retro-inspired middleweight offering in the Philippines. Priced at P369,800, and available in two colors, Twilight Blue and Coal Grey, the bike features head-turning looks as well as great performance to go with it. Currently available in only one variant, the Heritage utilizes dual-sport tires to add to its classic-inspired look along with its "X" design cues throughout the body of the bike.

One of the most unique designs to come out of CFMoto's factory, the 700 CL-X features a round LED headlight and an LED taillamp that both integrates the X design element into these pieces on the bike. Also stunning is the leather-feel seat that gives it a touch of class and sophistication. In its cockpit, you get a round digital gauge cluster that displays your tachometer, speedometer, fuel level, engine temperature, and trip among other items in an easy-to-read and retro-inspired package. Adding to the convenience of the bike, you do get a USB charging port for your phone while on a ride.

At the heart of the experience is CFMoto's liquid-cooled DOHC 693cc 2-cylinder parallel-twin engine that produces 73.75 hp at 8,500 RPM and 68 Nm at 6500 RPM. This powerful mill is mated to a 6-speed slipper clutch transmission. The tank capacity can hold up to 13 liters-worth of fuel and the seat height is at a manageable 800 mm.

Giving you grip and the looks to go with it, CFMoto has equipped this model with Pirelli MT60 RS road-biased-dual-sport tires that measure in at 110/80 in the front and 180/55 in the rear-mounted on 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. The motorcycle features an inverted fork up front colored in gold to give it that extra bit of flair and performance.

Other features on this bike include ABS for peace of mind, multiple riding modes which include sport, and eco modes, and even cruise control is added for enhanced convenience on the highway. You also get Ignition Protection which only starts the bike with the clutch in or in neutral. The engine will not engage with the side stand up. To protect the bike's engine, the ECU also features a limp-mode which allows the engine to be operated at a safe speed if a sensor goes out of tune. In the event of an accident, the bike also comes with a rollover sensor that automatically shuts off the engine, should you fall off the vehicle.
