Since 1999, the Suzuki SV 650A nameplate has been impressing motorcycle enthusiasts around the world for being sporty both on the road and the track. Tagged as a ‘V-Twin fun machine’ by virtue of its engine, the Japanese marque says that the third-generation, named the 650A, sets an even higher standard for the model. Locally, this performance-oriented naked bike is offered at P399,000.
The Suzuki SV 650A comes with a great number of features including a full LCD instrument cluster, a sleekly styled 14-liter fuel tank, and LED taillights for added visibility and aesthetic appeal. This bike is equipped with a clutch-activated low-RPM assist system. It is designed for new riders who have likely never ridden a bike with a manual transmission.
Powering this fun machine is a liquid-cooled, two-cylinder, four-stroke, 645cc V-twin engine that is angled at 90 degrees. It produces a maximum output of 66 hp and 58 Nm of torque, coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission. Meanwhile, the SV 650A has disc brakes on both of its wheels for safety.
