KTM 1290 Super Duke GT Overview

The KTM 1290 Super Duke GT is a long-distance sport touring bike that’s made even better. Priced at P1,250,000, this motorcycle ensures enjoyable touring with some key features.

This sharp-looking bike comes with a handlebar that can be adjusted four-ways for that perfect riding position. A command center also takes center stage here, where suspension settings and ride modes can be fettled at a push of a button. Behind the handlebar sits a 6.5 inch TFT instrument cluster. The Super Duke’s tank is designed to contain as much fuel as possible for those long-distance trips.

The bike has more than enough power, with 158hp and 140 Nm of torque courtesy of a two-cylinder, four-stroke DOHC 1,301cc engine. The power is then transferred to the wheels with a 6-speed gearbox with a hydraulic clutch. A sportier exhaust can be optioned, too, for that extra engine sound and a weight saving of 1.5 kilograms over the standard exhaust.

It will also keep its rider safe with anti-lock braking (ABS), stability control, tire-pressure monitor system, and LED cornering lights for added visibility on the road. Disc brakes are standard.
