Indian FTR 1200 Overview

Released in the Philippines in 2019, the Indian FTR 1200 is the American brand's answer to bike enthusiasts that are hungry for naked bikes. This race-inspired bike is available at P995,000.

Head-turning as it is, this track-ready naked bike embraces a style is inspired from the FTR750 race bike. For greater visibility on the road, it comes with a full LED lighting setup, as well as a contoured seat to give riders a comfortable, sporty riding position. It also rides on a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear Dunlop® high-performance tires for added confidence on the road. The 12.9-liter gas tank, on the other hand, is placed under the seat to lower the center of gravity for enhanced handling.

As for the suspension setup, this American motorbike features telescopic front forks and single-shock rear suspension. For the rider's peace of mind, the FTR 1200 is equipped with front and rear disc brakes, complemented with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).

Other convenience and safety features of the FTR 1200 are the fast-charge USB port, cruise control, slipper clutch, and pass switch.

Powering this naked bike is a 1,203cc liquid-cooled, 60-degree V-Twin, DOHC gasoline engine that can deliver a maximum output of 123 hp and 118 Nm of torque. This powertrain is then coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
