The Suzuki V-Strom 650 range gets new colors for 2022
Suzuki’s popular middleweight adventure-tourers are livelier than ever.
Suzuki has just announced new color options for its popular middleweight adventure touring bike range. The V-Strom 650 and V-Strom 650XT have been updated with more attractive designs, and there's sure to be something for everybody.
The V-Strom range has long been among Suzuki's most popular bikes. Featuring the tried and tested 645cc V-twin engine, the lineup continues to be a viable choice for the adventurous. For 2022, the range gets even better.
Starting with the V-Strom 650, it gets three color options. There's a Pearl Vigor Blue color with white beak decals. For fans of darker machines, there's the Glass Sparkle Black with Yellow Beak Graphic. Lastly, Pearl Brilliant White with Blue Beak decals is also available.
The V-Strom 650XT gets four color options for 2022. First is Pearl Vigour Blue with Metallic Matte Sword Silver Beak decals and blue rims. There's also Glass Spark Black with Grey and Blue Beak graphics and blue rims. As for holdovers from last year, there's still Champion Yellow No. 2 with gold rims and Pearl Brilliant White with gold rims.
These new colors could be enticing for many riders in the market for a new adventure touring bike. The 2021 V-Strom 650 and V-Strom 650XT are available in the Philippines, sans the new colorways.
The 2021 Suzuki V-Strom 650 gets power from a 645cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled V-twin engine. Paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, it makes 66 hp and 58 Nm. The adventure-tourer is equipped with a Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) system. An anti-lock braking system (ABS) comes standard. The V-Strom 650 is available for P489,000.
The higher variant, the 2021 V-Strom 650XT, features the same power plant but is more capable for off-road riding. The bike features wire-spoke wheels, a skid plate, and handguards. Plus, it gets all the V-Strom 650's features while adding traction control. The V-Strom 650XT is priced at P539,000.
