Suzuki Philippines has just unveiled its 2020 Gixxer 150 with new body panels and a more aggressive look. The motorcycle itself has just landed on Philippine shores and should already be available at your nearest Suzuki dealer.

Its updated design takes inspiration from the Gixxer 250 unveiled at last year’s Tokyo Motor Show. Because of that, its new look is now more appealing to those looking for a stand out motorcycle that is also a little bit more as a capable daily commuter. Thanks to its new panels and rear tire hugger, the bike now has a more aggressive silhouette making it appear larger than it really is. It features a new LED headlight assembly giving it a mini-streetfighter look matched with a full LED tail light from behind. Its split-seat pillion allows the rider to have a very low seat height of 795mm making it easier for the average Pinoy rider to plant his feet on the ground.

The Gixxer 150 is powered by a 155 cc SOHC, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) for better fuel efficiency. It has a power output of 14 hp at 8,000 RPM and 14 Nm of torque at 6,000 RPM mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Equipped with a 12-liter fuel tank, this makes the rider worry less about filling up in between travels.

Larger telescopic forks paired with a rear monoshock keeps the bike aloft and soaks up all the bumps on the road. It rides on 17-inch wheels with disc brakes in the front and rear to provide for its stopping duties. The Gixxer 150 has a ground clearance of 160 mm and tips the scales at only 141 kg, giving it a light and easy handling for the city, or long provincial roads. It is also equipped with a fully-digital instrument panel giving you all the essential information you need for the ride.

Suzuki offers the 2020 Gixxer 150 in black, blue, and silver and is priced at P93,900.
