It goes without saying that KTM, along with its sister company, Husqvarna, makes some of the most desirable and capable off-road machines the two-wheeled world has ever seen. With that, KTM seeks to grant the wishes of its eager-eyed fans this holiday season with the launch of the new KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition.
Already an extremely capable bike as it is, the 450 SX-F Factory Edition takes the standard SX-F and turns its style and neck-breaking performance up to eleven. For starters, the special edition bike is adorned with Red Bull Racing graphics derived from KTM’s AMA Supercross livery—particularly, Cooper Webb’s 2019 race bike that won KTM 13 podiums. Styling aside, the KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition also comes with a few notable engine enhancements designed to minimize weight and maximize performance and reliability. Of course, the special edition dirt bike comes with the myKTM app connectivity package as standard.
On top of the lightweight, performance-enhancing engine tweaks, the KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition features a fancy Akrapovič slip-on exhaust, as well as KTM Factory wheels. The 450 SX-F Factory Edition also gets a special seat featuring a Selle Della Valle stamp. The bike carries over the standard orange steel trellis frame, as well as other standard features found in the 450 SX-F.
To elevate the bike’s performance even further, the KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition gets lightweight Factory triple clamps anodized in orange, a trick orange rear sprocket, and a lightweight composite skid plate. It also gets a Hinson clutch cover for added protection when tackling gnarly sections of trail or landing huge jumps.
The KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition will, unfortunately, only be produced in limited numbers. That being said, the likelihood of this bike being available locally is pretty slim at best. Nonetheless, KTM still has a pretty solid repertoire of enduro bikes available in the local market.
