The Kawasaki Ninja 400 gets 4 new color options for 2021
New Ninja 400 colors were revealed at this year’s Bangkok International Motor Show
The Kawasaki Ninja 400 has already been in the Philippines for a couple of years now since it first came out and it has received such great acclaim from loyal fans. However, when it first released, it was very limited to only three color options with the Pearl Blizzard White/Metallic Spark Black for the Standard edition, and Ebony/Lime Green for the KRT edition. In the recently held Bangkok International Motor Show, Kawasaki revealed four new color options for the 2021 Ninja 400.
Its new color options now include two shades of green, with a standard green that looks like an updated edition of its KRT livery, and a special edition that actually has a more turquoise hue. In addition, it also comes in black, and gray. The Ninja 400 is still powered by the same 398 cc parallel-twin engine capable of churning out 49 hp and 38 Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
In terms of styling, the Ninja 400 always had a striking resemblance to its bigger sibling, the Ninja 650 with its sharp nose fairing, dual-pod LED headlights, and integrated turn indicators with a sculpted fuel tank, and tail section. However, unlike the new Ninja 650, it retains its analog tachometer instead of the new Ninja 650’s full-color TFT screen for its dash. Yet, this still makes it an excellent choice for those who want an aggressive-looking sportbike but with a more tamed powerplant with a smaller but more affordable package compared to the Ninja 650.
We could expect these new color options to land in our showrooms real soon, considering the loyal Ninja fanbase in the country. While Kawasaki Philippines has yet to make an official announcement as to when these new color options would be made available to us, we’ll be sure to keep our eyes peeled and ears open for any more updates.
