Husqvarna debuts the 2024 FS 450 supermoto in the global market
This track-only supermoto packs more performance than ever before.
Husqvarna Motorcycles has unveiled the 2024 FS 450 supermoto, featuring a brand new high-grip seat cover and eye-catching graphics in gray, yellow, and white, designed to attract attention. Equipped with a 450cc single-cylinder engine, the 2024 FS 450 is powered by a single overhead cam and has a bore and stroke of 95mm x 63.4mm. It's paired with a five-speed gearbox, a Brembo hydraulics system, and a Suter anti-hopping clutch. The engine, which weighs 59 pounds, was last updated for the 2023 model year, and it was specially designed to deliver excellent performance while remaining lightweight.
The 2024 FS 450's suspension system is composed of a 48mm WP XACT front fork with AER technology, as well as a WP XACT rear shock featuring a CFD-optimized main piston and tool-free adjustment. The front suspension provides 285mm of travel, while the rear suspension offers 266mm. The bike has a ground clearance of 281mm, and Brembo brakes are installed at both ends, with a 310mm disc up front and a 220mm disc in the rear. The 2024 FS 450 is equipped with black Alpina spoked wheels measuring 16.5 inches in the front and 17 inches in the rear. These wheels are fitted with Metzeler Racetec SM tires to provide excellent grip, traction, and agility performance.
Additional features of the 2024 FS 450 include a polyamide-reinforced, two-piece aluminum subframe, CNC-machined triple clamps, and a Pro Taper handlebar. It also comes equipped with a handlebar-mounted map select switch, which enables riders to activate launch control, traction control, and the quickshifter, as well as switch between two different engine maps as desired. Lastly, the fuel pump has been repositioned to ensure that the tank empties further, providing riders with more time on the bike per tank.
While pricing and availability for the Philippine market have not been announced yet, Husqvarna has stated that the 2024 FS 450 should be available globally through their authorized dealer network at the time of the announcement. For the latest information on pricing and availability, it is recommended that interested individuals contact their local Husqvarna dealer with any inquiries they may have.
