Honda launches new 2020 PCX 150 with new color options
Several new paint jobs of the PCX come to light, while everything else remains the same.

The Honda PCX 150 has been the choice of many commuter riders around Metro Manila, and the rest of the country. Honda has recently unveiled its updated PCX 150 and launched the new scooter in Thailand. The new update now comes in four color options: black with red highlights, white with red highlights, gray-black with gold-finished alloys, and red-black with gold-finished alloys. The previous model only offered 2 color options available here in the Philippines namely, Metallic Gray and Majestic Matt Red.

The PCX’s new maxi-scooter styling was made to appeal to younger riders. The same color trimming can be seen on the center of the floor step. The aerodynamic front end is designed to give some wind deflection on higher speeds. The engine remains unchanged with the same liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder 149cc engine mated with a twist-and-go CVT transmission. It is capable of generating 13.3 hp and 14 Nm of torque. It can give you an impressive range of 50 km/l thanks to Honda’s switchable idling-stop system.

Other tech and safety features include ABS, a USB charging socket for your devices, and an all-digital instrument cluster. The Honda Smart Controller allows you to lock the scooter, open the seat, fuel lid, and engage the ignition switch. With a weight of only about 127 kg, this makes the scooter easy to maneuver around the city and squeeze through Metro Manila Traffic.
Honda has always been generous with its scooter lineup in the Philippines and always capitalized on this particular growing market. This is evident from its wide selection of scooters which always included the PCX 150. Now that it has been officially launched in Thailand, we’re pretty sure that it would not take long before it landed in Philippine shores. We can be sure that it would still be priced competitively and affordably considering the tax breaks we get from fellow ASEAN nations.
