CFMOTO initially unveiled its magnificent NK-C22 concept bike to the public in November 2022 during EICMA. It came as no surprise to nobody that this concept would create quite a stir in the global motorcycle industry, especially given CFMOTO's reputation for making good on its concepts. Now, the Chinese company has officially pulled the covers off the bike, and has shared some of the bike's technical details.

The production version known as the 800 NK has recently received two official photos, some specifications, and other details from CFMOTO. According to the OEM, the 800 NK produces 100.8 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 81 newton-meters of torque at 8,000 rpm from the same KTM LC8C engine that powers the CFMOTO 800 MT. It is evident that the 800 NK has been tuned for greater performance at higher revs when compared to the data that CFMOTO offers for the 800MT, which is 89.8 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 75 newton-meters of torque at 8,000 rpm.

Keeping with the CFMOTO 800NK's stated specifications, the top speed is claimed at 220 kilometers per hour. The reported curb weight is 186 kilograms ready to ride—quite a lightweight machine. For reference, the KTM 790 Duke, its closest relative, tips the scales at 189 kilograms. Despite revealing the initial specs of the 800 NK, CFMOTO has yet to disclose quite a lot of info. Furthermore, the specs revealed by CFMOTO are for the Chinese market 800 NK, and chances are a few tweaks will be made for when the bike is launched in the global market.

Having said all that, CFMOTO is incredibly popular here in the Philippine market owing to its impressively priced models with even more impressive performance figures. Given the fact that the 800MT is priced starting at just a hair over P500,000, chances are that the 800 NK will be even more affordable. Hopefully, and possibly even below the P500,000 mark? If this will be the case, it’ll surely set a new standard for the middleweight naked bike segment.
