45th Bangkok International Motor Show 2024: What to expect at this year’s big event
Start your engines, everyone! 49 World-Renowned brands will gather at the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show.
Organized by Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) 2024 is bringing together 49 major car and motorcycle brands from different parts of the world, including Europe, Japan, India, and Vietnam.
Dr. Prachin Eamlumnow, CEO of Grand Prix International, believes the event will restore the automotive market, as this year's show is back to its old size in terms of exhibitors, just like before COVID-19.
Expanding to 76,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space, the event has seen an investment of over 300 million baht. The 45th BIMS is supported by various Thai automotive associations and the Ministry of Tourism & Sports.
The show features a wide range of vehicles, including eco-friendly options, which is good news for the Thai car industry. The theme for this year, "The Mobility of Joyful Experiences," hints at the possible meeting point of automotive technology and lifestyle, how cars and life come together to make driving a happy and fun experience while also being kinder to the environment and finding new business opportunities.
Jaturont Komolmis, COO of Grand Prix International, mentions that over 49 top automotive brands will be present, with at least 20 new models debuting alongside concept cars. Visitors can also expect a range of high-profile cars and exciting newcomers.
"This year, over 49 leading brands of car and motorcycle have placed their interest in joining the show, and there will be at least 20 new models launching at the show along with Hyper Concept cars such as Mercedes-Benz Vision ONE-ELEVEN and Nissan Hyper Tourer Concept."
Attracting over 300 media registrations, the BIMS remains to be a huge global automotive event. With lots of different cars and motorcycles, the event is going to be a great place to see all the newest stuff from all these big brands.
